MSA 2027 will take place from Sunday, June 13 through Saturday, July 3. Admission decisions are made in March. Admitted scholars will need the following resources.

Admitted students will rank their class preferences as part of their Ideal-Logic MSA registration process.
We encourage you to take this opportunity to try new things!
Admitted students are invited to join us for an info session and Q&A covering important details you won’t want to miss. We’ll offer the same info session on Zoom on week later. If you can’t join us for either, fret not: we’ll send out a recording of the zoom session.

Increasing housing and dining costs and a decrease in our state funding this year has resulted in a higher fee than recent years. There is a $600 scholar fee for the 2027 Academy. This may be covered:
- By the family directly
- Via sponsorship (school, community organization, benefactor)
- By requesting a needs-based fee waiver
Direct payments may be made online through the registration portal or by mailing a check*.
Sponsors must be identified in your registration by name and email address. We will reach out to them for payment at that email address. They will also be able to pay electronically or by check.
Waivers may be requested by students who qualify for free or reduced lunch and do not have a sponsor. Waivers are limited.
*Checks should be made out to “University of Missouri Columbia” and mailed to:

Admitted scholars will have the opportunity to nominate one of their teachers to join them at MSA for an evening in June for Teacher Appreciation Day. Admitted scholars will have the option to nominate a teacher in their registration form.
All scholars are encouraged to submit teacher names. Who doesn’t like to feel appreciated?
